The non-negligible number of projects rejected by the supervisory bodies either due to low quality of the project itself or due to the incomplete documentation regarding the genesis and history of the property involved, the scarce use of traditional materials and techniques (as prescribed by the Territorial Urban Plan in force on the site) have suggested to include a specific intervention in the Management Plan of the Amalfi Coast (PdG): the production of an “expert system” capable of supporting the planners in the definition of territorial transformation interventions that satisfy the needs of users in respect of the context in which they are located (Tutorial for quality design).

The tutorial will also significantly speed up the approval times of the projects by the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape, which is directly involved in its production and which, therefore, from the current role of ex post controller can become ex ante scientific support .
